Jeff chose accounting as a profession because, quite simply, he knew he’d be good at it. As a child, he would spend hours drafting spending plans for his chore earnings. “When saving up for a big purchase, like a stereo, I would make projections as to when I’d be able to afford it,” he says.
In 2006, Jeff joined Froehling Anderson as a staff accountant and now serves as a manager in the firm’s Business Consulting Department. He lends his organized and precise nature to helping clients keep more money in their pockets—something he finds to be very satisfying. “Solving a complex tax or accounting problem for a client is akin to putting down the last piece of a puzzle,” he says. “You really feel good about what you did.”
Outside of the office, Jeff keeps his mind sharp by learning about recent innovations through TED Talks and documentaries. He’s also expanding his knowledge of jiu-jitsu. To relax, he spends time by the pool and plays his acoustic guitar.
