Nancy handles the overall strategic planning, organizing and execution of all information technology functions at Froehling Anderson. She was drawn to working in a CPA firm because of the “really smart people”, regulation driven software, and being able to focus on leading edge technology and trends. “Staying current and ahead of the technology curve has a positive impact on our firm – it’s rewarding to watch and experience,” says Nancy.
Meticulous and a problem solver, her role as IT Director uses those skills in spades. Taking a problem that may seem overwhelming and complicated and making it simple and easy makes Nancy great at what she does.
“I take pride in the technology solutions we’ve provided for our firm – deliver what our staff needs to be productive and happy, and be able to share and manage client data within a confidential and secure environment”.
Staying current on technology and cybersecurity – nationally and globally – is a constant focus. She’s highly involved with several forums and user groups, and is a member of the AICPA tech section, Infragard, and ISC2 Twin Cities Chapter.
When not solving issues at work, she unwinds spending time with family, visiting brewpubs, and sending care packages to deployed troops. She taps her inner “Martha Stewart” restoring vintage Barbies, and creating unique handbags and guitar straps.
