Dale Pust

Dale originally pursued a career in music but was finding that the jobs he had were always ending in accounting related work. This gave him the nudge to try it and see where it led. Since taking that leap, he has now been in accounting firm administration for well over a decade and enjoys music on the side.

In his role as Director of Finance at Froehling Anderson, Dale gets to pursue things he both enjoys and is good at, such as navigating the complexities of Excel spreadsheets and working with challenging formulas. He is passionate about helping people and he gets opportunities to do that a lot in his current role.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Dale enjoys spending time with his family, reading a good book, and cooking or baking.

Chris Schroers

It was Chris’s high school teacher who originally inspired her to pursue the accounting field; her engaging teaching style had such a powerful impact that it has driven her career path ever since. Chris began her career with one CPA firm holding various positions within the firm for 25 years. She started as a tax assembler as she went to school and worked in accounting services and tax before steering towards the internal side of the firm as Controller and later, Firm Administrator. She moved to another firm where she worked for 9 years as their Firm Administrator and was then promoted to Director of Operations.

Chris’s passions are helping people and striving to make her company the best it can be. Her skills in firm management, strategic planning, HR, event planning, budgeting, and financial statements have aided in her success in this industry.

When she’s recharging away from the office, Chris enjoys spending time with her family at the cabin, traveling, or playing pickleball.

Steven B. Wagner

Steve was initially introduced to accounting in the 80’s and discovered his enjoyment for tackling challenges while simultaneously using his problem-solving skills. The thrill of the challenge combined with learning about the policies inherent in income tax is what brought him to the accounting industry. His ability to explain complex problems in a simple way that his clients will understand is one of many skills he brings to his career. How he relates to his clients and prioritizes personal communication is what makes him an advisor you can trust.

With his 35+ years of experience in public accounting, Steve has been named a ‘Super CPA’ by both Minnesota Law & Politics and Twin Cities Business Monthly. He is regularly sought after to lead seminars on current and complex tax law for professional associations and private vendors throughout the country. He has been repeatedly named nationally by the AICPA as an outstanding discussion leader for his teaching continuing education classes for other CPA’s.  He has also been awarded the Glen Berryman Award by the Minnesota Society of CPAs for his outstanding continuing education presentations. He joined the Froehling Anderson team in 2009 and the passion he has for what he gets to do is vibrant and evident.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Steve enjoys playing music, golfing, and traveling.

David B. Wasmuth

Growing up, Dave wanted to be a teacher. Although he ultimately found his calling as an accountant, his 40-year career has centered on guiding others — clients and colleagues — to success. He joined Froehling Anderson in 1979 and is a senior partner in the firm’s Business Consulting Department. He relies upon his past experience, which includes serving as managing partner from 1997 to 2004, to help clients navigate strategic business opportunities.

He is involved in the firm’s continuing education program and, through his involvement with Pecos River Learning Center, he has conducted several seminars throughout the U.S. and Europe. For Dave, the appeal of accounting mirrors that of teaching. “Accounting gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others,” he says.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Dave makes a positive impact through his faith, family (wife and son) and nature photography.

Matt Almer

Matt discovered his enjoyment for problem solving when he took his first accounting class in high school. He had the innate ability to hear an issue and find the best solution possible. He comes to Froehling Anderson with a wealth of knowledge from having worked at another accounting firm for a decade. He is passionate about the work he does because he thrives on both helping and teaching other staff, as well as getting to know his clients to help solve challenges they face.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Matt enjoys going up north, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Her extensive background in financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk management allows her to provide invaluable insights to help companies optimize their processes, enhance profitability, and navigate market fluctuations effectively.

Kari Greene

Kari, a natural problem solver, fell in love with accounting because of its similarities to solving a puzzle. She likes discovering the pain points business owners have and the things that keep them up at night, so she can find a solution to relieve their worries. While her love of puzzles and challenges drew her to the profession, it’s the people that made her stay.

After realizing how much information numbers hold, if you know how to read them, Kari quickly learned that those numbers communicate a story, and she wanted to know the stories of her clients. Her experience working with closely held businesses who are passionate about what they do, she gets to hear firsthand how their one idea turned into the business they have today. Their passion about their business combined with Kari’s passion for accounting, they work together to understand the company through numbers, and plan for a successful future. Her passion is the people.

When she’s recharging away from the office, Kari loves to spend time with her family and friends exploring the great outdoors, playing sports, and traveling.
