David B. Wasmuth

Growing up, Dave wanted to be a teacher. Although he ultimately found his calling as an accountant, his 40-year career has centered on guiding others — clients and colleagues — to success. He joined Froehling Anderson in 1979 and is a senior partner in the firm’s Business Consulting Department. He relies upon his past experience, which includes serving as managing partner from 1997 to 2004, to help clients navigate strategic business opportunities.

He is involved in the firm’s continuing education program and, through his involvement with Pecos River Learning Center, he has conducted several seminars throughout the U.S. and Europe. For Dave, the appeal of accounting mirrors that of teaching. “Accounting gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others,” he says.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Dave makes a positive impact through his faith, family (wife and son) and nature photography.

Danny Anderson

Danny was drawn to the accounting field through a combination of his entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for problem-solving. He has always been interested in learning how businesses operate and grow, and accounting – especially taxation – offered a way to support that growth strategically. As an Enrolled Agent, he has found fulfillment in helping clients navigate complex tax issues, particularly in multi-state filings and specialized industries like wholesale, manufacturing, construction, and professional sports. The ability to combine technical expertise with real-world impact is what keeps him motivated in his career.

Knowing that everyone at Froehling Anderson is working towards the same goal, and is always willing to help one another, is just one of many reasons why Danny joined the firm in 2017 and hasn’t looked back. He has built his career in the accounting industry with a strong focus on taxation, and enjoys navigating varying state tax laws, resolving tax controversies, and developing strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance. With each client interaction, he is committed to delivering proactive, accurate, and personalized tax solutions. His attention to detail, vast experience in complex tax scenarios and IRS representation, and his intentionality with client communication are just a few of the strengths that make him a trusted advisor.

While he’s recharging away from the office, Danny can be found enjoying a round of golf, attending a sporting event, and relaxing with his wife and son.

Michelle Bryz-Gornia

Michelle was consistently drawn to any class that was business or numbers centered. She decided to pursue accounting in college and quickly realized this wasn’t just something she was good at; it was something she was passionate about. Helping her clients achieve their goals by assisting them with their financial situations fuels her passion for the work she gets to do.

The first five years of her career was spent in state income tax advisory. Michelle later joined the Froehling Anderson team in 2020 and desired to expand her knowledge even further. She started working in Federal and State income taxes to gain experience in different industries within the Tax Services Department. Each day brings new challenges and new problems to solve, and it pushes her to keep learning and growing as she uses her skills of critical thinking, communication, time management, and attention to detail to find creative solutions for her clients.

When she’s recharging away from the office, Michelle can be found spending time outside with her family; hiking, walking her dog, camping, boating, or playing soccer.

Jacob Gregg

Jake has been business-focused for as long as he can remember. He’s been consistently drawn to numbers and analyzing relationships and discovered he could use both of those skills in accounting. When he was in college, he initially pursued a degree in management, but after he took some accounting classes, he quickly realized this was the path for him.

Right after graduating from college, Jake joined the Froehling Anderson team in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. His strong abilities to communicate well, problem solve, and think critically, are what make him excel in his day-to-day tasks and in his relationships with his clients. No day is the same and he’s always learning something new. He is passionate about developing individual relationships with his clients and learning how their companies operate.

When he’s recharging away from the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, camping, and traveling.
